Students in 4th through 8th grades receive a music grade on their report card for each trimester.
The grading system is as follows:
4-Exceeds expectations
3-Meets expectations
2-Needs improvement
1-No effort
All assignments over a week late will be one grade lower than if it was handed in on time. For example a 4 would be a 3 instead.
On OptionC, students grades are shown to the hundredth decimal. For example: 3.54
Any grade higher than a 3.69 will be a 4
Any grade 2.69-3.68 will be a 3
Any grade 1.69-2.68 will be a 2
Any grade 1.68 or lower will be a 1
