Pre-K: We learned to sing and move to songs about Fall which included the Scarecrow Dance!
K: We practiced the Thanksgiving Prayer service music and learned the song "Baby Shark" with hand motions. We followed the directions in the song "One Finger, One Thumb". 1st: We finished our unit review to see how well we understand steady beat and melodic movement. 2nd: We practiced our special song for the Thanksgiving Prayer service and learned the song "Lemonade". We figured out the so-mi pattern for the song and earned our next solfa dojo belt! 3rd: We worked on our Christmas Show music and started to learn our Thanksgiving song "Sweet Potatoes". 4th: We worked on our Christmas Show music. 5th: We worked on our Christmas Show music and finished sharing our Halloween Sound Effect stories. 6th: We finished performing our jazz songs! 7th: We finished our Chicago Blues assignment and groups started to perform their blues songs! 8th: We selected one of the "Big 3" classical composers (Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven) to create a children's storybook. Each group got a turn to work on their commercial/movie scene in front of the green screen.
